  2. Browse the catalog by clinical area or search for specific genes and disorders.
  3. On a clinical area page, you can order one of the pre-curated panels or add single genes to your cart on the Gene list tab.

Send in sample

  1. Use our online request form to request a free Invitae blood or saliva collection kit, which you need for collecting and returning your specimen.
  2. Label the sample tube with the patient’s full name, date of birth, and sample collection date. For full details about our sample requirements, visit our Sample Requirements page.
  3. Within the US and Canada, Invitae can arrange a blood draw at your office or your patient’s home at no additional charge. Once your order is placed, contact Client Services to schedule the appointment. Appointments must be scheduled at least three days in advance.
  4. Print the requisition and consent forms that were created during the online ordering process. Invitae’s requisition and consent forms are also available on our Forms page.
  5. Package the requisition and consent forms with your patient’s sample in the provided collection box.
  6. You’re now ready to call your shipping carrier to schedule a pick-up. Within the US, return shipping is offered at no additional charge and a label is included in the collection kit. We recommend shipping the sample overnight, on the same day the sample is collected. We also recommend shipping at the beginning of the week to avoid any transport delays over a weekend.
